Yusun W91 - PandaWill.com

Brand: Yusun
Model: W91
Purchased from: PandaWill.com

I bought 1 of these cellphones on May 17th and got it by June 11th, and I also bought another one on May 28th and got it by July 2nd.

Both items were sent from Singapore through registered air mail. The first one took less than 1 month to get to El Salvador, but the second one took a little more than 1 month. Shipping is really variable.

I got them for $56.56 each at PandaWill.com. They were on a clearance sale. I didn't really check for their regular price, but I'm sure they weren't so cheap regularly.

Each package included 1x cellphone, 1x 1850 mAh battery, 1x USB cable, 1x charger, 1x US charger adapter, and 1x user manual. Everything was well packed in both cases.

The screen is 4.5 inches, 960 x 540 pixels, capacitive touch screen.

It's factory unlocked, works with 2G: GSM 900/1800MHz and 3G: WCDMA 2100MHz. It has dual SIM card, dual stand by.

I had a problem here with both cellphones. The cellphone's description on PandaWill.com said it worked with 2G: GSM 850/900/1800/1900Mhz networks and 3G: WCDMA 2100MHz networks, but when I got the first cellphone I found it only worked with 2G: GSM 900/1800MHz networks and 3G: WCDMA 2100MHz networks. I tried different SIM cards but it only got signal for Digicel SIM cards (a Salvadorean company that uses a 900MHz network and that isn't so common between people). After that, I did some research and found many pages saying what I just wrote about the cellphone's working networks. I already notified PandaWill.com to get that problem solved. I had to keep them like that without getting any refund or discount because I didn't want to send my cellphone back to China to be checked by them. They also told me to record a video for them where I explained the problem but I didn't do it because I was really busy at the university by that tiem and I had no time to do it. They were kind and tried to give me a solution but I didn't get it on time and I didn't get any "good" solution for me.

The cellphone has dual cameras. Front camera is 0.3MP and back camera is 8.0MP, full HD, with flash light and auto focus. Both cameras work nice, take good pictures, and record good videos. I think the back camera is interpolated, but it still takes good photos.

It works with Android 4.0.4 OS. You can download many apps and games for it from Play Store or from other websites such as Mobogenie market.

Size is good, it's perfect for most of the people I have asked for their opinion about it. Screen is very bright and clear, and also has great definition for me. Wifi navigation is fast, I don't complain about it. Battery lasts a little more than 1 day with regular use, around 5 to 7 hours with frequent use, and almost 2 days or a little more with low use.

Music player is nice and sounds a pretty loud, video player is nice too. Calling is very easy.

One of the cons I've found is that they don't come with their own earphones, but they also don't work well with other earphones. I've tried like 7 different pairs of earphones from other cellphones and music players, but none of them works properly. Some of them have really low volume, another one just makes weird noises, another pair doesn't work at all, and with 2 pairs just 1 earphone works. I also used the 7 pairs of earphones with other devices (including my laptop) and they all worked well there, so I found the problem is on the cellphones.

This cellphone has 512MB RAM and 4GB ROM; CPU is MTK6577, Cortex A7 dual core, 1.0GHz; GPU is PowerVR SGX 531. Performance is quite enough for a cellphone with those characteristics. Not an awesome phone, but not a total waste (except for the problem I wrote before). It can be a little slow sometimes, but it works well most of the time.

Overall, the cellphone has great appearance and performance. Until now, the only bad thing I've found is what I wrote before about the earphone jack, but it's not a problem if you don't use earphones to listen to music in your cellphone or make/receive calls. If you do, you better look for another solution like using bluetooth earphones or a bluetooth speaker to make calls, receive calls or listen to music; or using another device to play music. The cellphone's speaker is loud and clear by the way.

It was cheap for its characteristics, but now I learned cheap things usually come with a problem.

I was checking PandaWill.com to see if this cellphone is available now, but I found it's not available anymore. I asked them for it and they said their production has been stopped. It's only available on eBay.

Escher W999 (Star S4) - PandaWill.com

Brand: Escher
Model: W999
Purchased from: PandaWill.com

I bought this cellphone on May 3rd and I got it by May 30th. On PandaWill.com it is named "Star S4 Smartphone", but its real brand is Escher.

Item was sent from Singapore through registered air mail and it took less than 1 month to get it in El Salvador. It was really fast this time.

I got it for $99.99 at PandaWill.com. It was on a clearance sale. It usually costs $201.99.

The package included 1x cellphone, 1x 2300 mAh battery, 1x USB cable, 1x US charger, 1x flip cover, and 1x user manual. Everything was well packed.

The screen is 5.0 inches, 1280 x 720 pixels, capacitive touch screen.

It's factory unlocked, works with 2G: GSM 900/1800MHz and 3G: WCDMA 2100MHz. It has dual SIM card, dual stand by, one of them is a micro-SIM card slot.

I had a problem here. The cellphone's description on PandaWill.com said (and still says) it works with 2G: GSM 850/900/1800/1900Mhz networks and 3G: WCDMA 2100MHz networks, but when I got it I found it only works with 2G: GSM 900/1800MHz networks and 3G: WCDMA 2100MHz networks. I got a 5% off coupon to use in my next purchase because I didn't want to send my cellphone back to China to be checked by them. They still don't fix its description until this day (July 20th, 2014).

The cellphone has dual cameras. Front camera is 2.0MP and back camera is 8.0MP, full HD, with flash light and auto focus. Both cameras work really nice and take good pictures and videos.

It works with Android 4.1 OS. You can download lots of apps and games for it from Play Store or from other websites.

Size is good, not too big and not too small, it's perfect for most of the people. Screen is very bright and clear. Wifi navigation is very fast. Battery lasts almost 1 and a half days with regular use, almost 1 day with frequent use, and almost 2 days or a little more with low use.

Music player is nice and sounds a pretty loud, video player is nice too. Calling is very easy.

It has 1GB RAM and 4GB ROM; CPU is Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 MSM8225Q, Cortex A5 quad core, 1.2GHz; GPU is Adreno 203. Performance is quite enough for a cellphone with those characteristics. Not an awesome phone, but not a total waste. It can be a little slow sometimes, although I haven't installed too many apps on it. I'm using a 4GB micro SD card, and it still has 2GB of free space.

Overall, the cellphone has great appearance and performance, it looks like a Samsung Galaxy S4. Until now, the only bad thing I've found is what I wrote before that it turns slower sometimes even though I haven't installed too many apps or games, but it's not all the time.

I was checking PandaWill.com to see if this cellphone is available now, but I found it was sold out. Some days ago I checked and the last ones were being sold for only $84.99.

Excelvan S9920 - EverBuying.com

Brand: Excelvan
Model: S9920
Purchased from: EverBuying.com

I bought this cellphone on February 21st and I got it by March 31st.

Item was sent from Netherlands through registered air mail and it took a little more than 1 month to get it in El Salvador. This happenned because there was a 9-day holiday in my country and the post office doesn't work during that period.

I got it for $79.27 at EverBuying.com. I used a special coupon to get that price because it costed $86.61 normally.

The package included 1x cellphone, 1x 1500 mAh battery, 1x earphone, 1x USB cable, 1x charger, 1x back case, and 1x user manual. Everything was well packed, the problem I got is that they sent me the wrong charger. In my country, we use US chargers and they sent me an EU charger. I had to buy a US adapter to charge the cellphone.

The screen is 4.0 inches, 800 x 480 pixels, capacitive touch screen (2-points).

It's factory unlocked, works with 2G: GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz and 3G: WCDMA 850/2100MHz. It has dual SIM card, dual stand by, one of them is a micro-SIM card slot.

It has dual cameras. Front camera is 2.0MP and back camera is 5.0MP with flash light and auto focus. Although its box says cameras are 2MP back and 0.3MP front, both cameras work nice and take good pictures and videos. I think they are interpolated because when you enter to the camera's settings, there says cameras are 5MP and 2MP as stated on the website.

It works with Android 4.2 OS (the one I bought, because there's a cheaper model with Android 4.1 OS). You can download a wide variety of apps and games for it from Play Store or from other websites.

Size is OK, not too big and not too small, it's perfect to carry it anywhere. Screen is very bright and clear. Wifi navigation is pretty fast. Battery lasts almost 1 and a half days with regular use, almost 1 day or less with frequent use, and almost 2 days with low use.

Music player is good and sounds a little loud, video player is nice too. Calling is easy.

It has 512MB RAM and 4GB ROM; CPU is MTK6572, Cortex A7 dual core, 1.2GHz; GPU is Mali-400 MP. You might think it's not too fast, but I have played heavy apps and games (such as Real Racing 3) and it runs them very well. It took me about 3-4 hours to download that game, but then I could run it with almost no problems. It took about 3-5 minutes for the cellphone to load the game at the beginning, but then I could play almost like I was using a better phone.

Overall, the cellphone has great appearance and performance, it looks like a Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini, the difference is only of 1-2 mms between their sizes. Until now, I haven't found any big cons for this phone. The only thing is what I wrote before about cameras, but it's not a big deal.

It is running a little slower now, but I think it's because I've downloaded many games. I'll have to delete some of them and see if it runs faster after that.

I was checking EverBuying.com to see if they have this cellphone available now, and I found it's even cheaper than when I bought it (only $71.61). Hurry up if you want one. It's also available in blue color, but it's more expensive that way ($86.49).

A199 cellphone - EverBuying.com

Brand: Unknown
Model: A199
Purchased from: EverBuying.com

I bought this cellphone on April 25th and I got it by May 21st.

Item was sent from Netherlands through registered air mail and it took less than 1 month to get it in El Salvador.

I got it for $96.06 at EverBuying.com.

The package included 1x cellphone, 2x 1800 mAh batteries, 1x earphone, 1x USB cable, 1x charger, 1x flip cover, and 1x user manual. Everything was well packed and came with no problems.

The screen is 5.0 inches, 854 x 480 pixels, capacitive touch screen.

It works with Android 4.2 OS and has a wide variety of apps to work with.

It's factory unlocked, works with 2G: GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz and 3G: WCDMA 850/2100MHz. It has dual SIM card, dual stand by.

It has dual cameras. Front camera is 2.0MP and back camera is 5.0MP with flash light and auto focus. Both cameras work nice and take good pictures and videos.

Size is OK, not too big and not too small, it's perfect to carry it anywhere. Screen is very bright and clear. Wifi navigation is pretty fast. Battery lasts almost 2 days with regular use, almost 1 day with frequent use, and almost 3 days with low use.

Music player is good and sounds a little loud, video player is nice too. Calling is easy.

It has 512MB RAM and 4GB ROM; CPU is MTK6572, Cortex A7 dual core, 1.2GHz; GPU is Mali-400 MP. It's not too fast, but it's enough if you don't use heavy apps or games.

Overall, the cellphone has great appearance and performance, it looks elegant. It can be easily compared to a "branded" cellphone (such as Samsung, HTC, Alcatel, Huawei, etc.). Until now, I haven't found any cons for this phone considering the money I paid for it.

I was checking EverBuying.com to see if they have this cellphone available now, but they say it's out of stock because it was sold out. Too bad if you wanted one, maybe you can check other web sites.

DooGee DG150 - EverBuying.com

Brand: DooGee
Model: DG150
Purchased from: EverBuying.com

I bought this cellphone on April 25th and I got it by May 27th.

Item was sent from Netherlands through registered air mail and it took a little more than 1 month to get it in El Salvador.

It was bought using a coupon code to get it for $78.99 at EverBuying.com, but it normally costs around $95 in different websites.

The package included 1x cellphone, 1x 1500 mAh batteries, 1x earphone, 1x USB cable, 1x charger, 1x user manual, 1x extra screen protector, 1x tool for opening case, and 1x compass with keychain. Everything was well packed and came with no problems.

The screen is 3.5 inches, 320 x 480 pixels, capacitive touch screen.

Front camera is 1.3MP and back camera is 2.0MP with flash light and auto focus. Both cameras work  well and take average pictures and videos, they aren't as good as they could. At night, they aren't so good either.

Size is a little small (it has a 3.5 inches screen). It's very convenient for trips or hiking.

The best part of it is that it's shockproof, dustproof, and waterproof according to the website's description. I couldn't check whether it's waterproof or not because I didn't want to take that risk (those could have been $80 thrown to the garbage can). I only checked it was shockproof because I threw it to the floor a couple of times and it didn't get any scratches because of its integrated rubber cover and its screen protector.

Screen is bright and clear. Wifi navigation is a little fast. Battery lasts almost 2 days with regular use, almost 1 day with frequent use, and almost 3 days with low use.

Music player is good and sounds loud, video player is great. Calling is easy. It has a special OS designed for DooGee Titans smartphones; it makes the cellphone look more secure and resistant (lock screen looks like the front view of a safe box).

It has 512MB RAM and 4GB ROM; CPU is MTK6572, Cortex A7 dual core, 1.0GHz; GPU is Mali-400 MP. That makes this cellphone just an average phone, not so special. It's more a "work phone" than a show-off phone, it's very resistant.

Overall, the cellphone has great appearance and performance and it's worth the money I paid for it. The only cons for this phone are its keypad (it's difficult to write because screen is too small) and its cameras (they don't have good definition, pictures aren't the best). I recommend this cellphone for people who like to go hiking, riding a bike, or taking trips to be in touch with nature. It's an outdoors phone, very resistant.

I've been checking prices recently. PandaWill.com and EverBuying.com have the lowest prices until now (around $90-$95)

The package included 1x cellphone, 2x 2500 mAh batteries, 1x earphone, 1x USB cable, 1x charger, and 1x user manual. Everything was well packed and came with no problems.

The screen is 5.8 inches, 1280 x 720 pixels, capacitive touch screen.

Front camera is 5.0MP and back camera is 12.0MP with flash light and auto focus. Both cameras work really well and take good pictures and videos. At night, they are good too, although there are other cellphones with better night cameras.

Size is a little big (it has a 5.8 inches screen). It's very similar to Samsung Galaxy Note II. Screen is very bright and clear. Wifi navigation is pretty fast. Battery lasts almost 2 days with regular use, almost 1 day with frequent use, and almost 3 days with low use.

Music player is good and sounds really loud, video player is great. Calling is easy.

It has 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM; CPU is MTK6589, Cortex A7 quad core, 1.2GHz; GPU is PowerVR SGX 544MP. That makes this cellphone pretty fast for playing heavy games.

Apps run smoothly and can manage to run heavy games in Play Store, such as Real Racing 3.

Overall, the cellphone has great appearance and performance and it's worth the money I paid for it. Until now, I haven't found any cons for this phone. I'd definitely buy another one if I needed a good cellphone.
